Glazed Buffalo Cauliflower

Why blaze it when you can glaze it, right?

This buffalo glazed cauliflower is the perfect side dish

to satisfy that spicy food craving that most of us  get, without trashing our

eating goals. The ideal game day substitute, that keeps your hunger on the side lines

and your nutrition game on point!

Growing up in a house where chicken wings were a staple,

it was one of the hardest foods for me to stop having on a weekly basis.

Once I discovered how much more delicious healthy food is

than heavily breaded, soggy and deep fried wings were, the game

changed forever!

Honey Glazed Buffalo Cauliflower

Ingredients

2 large heads of raw Cauliflower florets

1 cup Mild hot sauce

2 tbsp Raw Honey

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2 tsbp Natural Honey Mustard (made with REAL honey)

2 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp salt

1 tsp crushed black pepper

Begin by preheating the oven to 420 degrees or to a low broil. Then combine all the ingredients listed above in a large mixing bowl. Lay all of the cauliflower florets, flat on a sheet pan and very lightly baste with olive oil and add a few tbsp of water to keep the florets from scorching. Place the cauliflower into the oven and let roast for about ten minutes. Take the pan out, toss the cauliflower and place back into oven for five more minutes. Once the florets are cooked to your likeness(I like mine with browned and roasted edges), then toss the florets into the glaze, thoroughly coating the cauliflower bites!
